Mooquer's polarised glasses carry a filter that removes reflections from surfaces, the glare of wet tarmac, the flash off water, the dazzle of cars. You see with more sharpness and contrast, and the eyes tire less under strong sun. Models from the Nordic brand CHPO, with a recycled-plastic frame and UV400 protection.

What do polarised glasses do?

A polarised lens filters out the light that bounces horizontally off shiny surfaces, which is what produces the annoying glare. By cutting that reflection it improves contrast and definition, you see the details of the terrain and the road better, and the eyes last longer without tiring. It's the benchmark lens for strong-sun days and intense light.

Are polarised glasses good for cycling and running?

Yes, especially on road and tarmac, where the glare from the ground and from cars dazzles. Polarisation gives you a cleaner, more restful image under the sun. On trail with a lot of changing shade you might prefer a photochromic, but for riding in the sun or running in strong light, the polarised is hard to beat.

What's the difference between polarised and photochromic lenses?

The polarised cuts reflections and keeps a fixed tint, made for strong, constant sun. The photochromic changes intensity according to the light, made for variable conditions. If you almost always train in the sun, choose polarised. If the light changes a lot during your outing, choose photochromic. At Mooquer you have both.

Less glare, more sharpness. The lens for real sun.
