Artech is Scope's high-end range, the lightest and fastest wheels, with exclusive technology such as Aeroscales and 3D printed hubs with Scalmalloy. The R-Series uses the same rim design but with steel spokes and a more accessible price, maintaining a competition-ready weight. Artech aims for maximum performance, while the R-Series seeks the best balance between features and price.
The complete Artech 4 wheelset weighs around 1120 grams, with a 45mm rim profile. It is one of the lightest wheels in its category, designed for all types of terrain, from mountain passes to fast rides on flat ground.
It depends on your terrain. A medium profile of about 45 mm, like the Artech 4 or the R4, is the most versatile option and suitable for almost everything. High profiles are faster on flat terrain and for riders, but they suffer more with crosswinds. Low profiles are lighter and more comfortable in the mountains. Yes. All of them are fitted with the Tubeless Scope System, which is compatible with both tubeless and clincher tires, with easy mounting and stable pressure. The road rims are optimized for 28 mm tires.
