Mooquer running clothing is technical kit for running, designed in Asturias and made in Spain, Italy and Portugal. T-shirts, socks and layers built for the running stride, in short runs and with European fabrics, so you can train and race without your clothing holding you back.

What clothing do you need to run?

To run you need three things that work together: a technical top that wicks sweat, a sock that doesn't cause chafing or blisters, and a light layer for the cold or wind of the first few kilometres. Cotton is dead weight when it gets wet. At Mooquer each piece is developed for the repetitive motion of running, with flat seams where friction punishes and fabrics that dry fast.

Why use technical running clothing and not an ordinary T-shirt?

Technical running clothing exists for one specific reason: a cotton T-shirt absorbs sweat, stays heavy and soaked, and multiplies chafing over long distances. A technical fabric moves moisture to the outside, stays light and regulates temperature. The difference isn't noticeable in the first ten minutes; it shows at kilometre fifteen.

What is the difference between running and trail running clothing?

Running clothing is designed for tarmac and track, where lightness, breathability and minimal weight come first. Trail running clothing is designed for the mountains, where you also need abrasion resistance, protection from branches and mud, and garments that hold up in harsher conditions. If you mostly run in the city or on the road, this is your collection. If you run in the mountains, the trail running collection is yours.

Is Mooquer a Spanish running clothing brand?

Yes. Mooquer is a Spanish brand with a physical store in Oviedo and production split between Spain, Italy and Portugal. We work in short runs, with European fabrics, and we don't run sales: the product is sold at its price all year round.
Running is the simplest thing in the world. The clothing that goes with it doesn't have to be any less so.
