Why MTB needs a durable sock

It's not about warmth or breathing more, it's about lasting. Pedalling on technical terrain, the footwork and the rubbing punish the sock far more than tarmac. A dense, well-built fabric resists that wear where a thin sock tears from the start.

Reinforcement where it hurts most

Our high-end models add reinforcement in the critical zones, metatarsal, toe, heel and Achilles tendon, which is exactly where the mountains cause the most tears and blisters. If you're after maximum durability, look at the models with reinforcement and compression.

Compression for technical terrain

Some of these socks add compression across the arch, which holds the foot on technical sections and descents, where the foot tends to move inside the shoe. Hold and durability in the same garment. Made in Spain in short runs.
